Sandra Higgins is an experienced Independent Art Advisor and Curator based in London. She has a BA in Fine Art and an MA in Art History. She was a practicing artist/printmaker and tutor in the US. When she came to the UK in the early 90's she opened her own gallery, ‘Sandra Higgins Fine Art’, in Mayfair. She is a guide for the Tate Gallery and a long-standing member and former Vice-chairman of the Chelsea Arts Club where she organized educational talks with distinguished individuals in the arts for the club members each year. In addition, she is a founding member of the Association of Women Art Dealers in London.
Currently Sandra acts as an art advisor and curator for individual clients, corporations and institutions. She exhibits and represents international artists as their agent and annually exhibits their work at art fairs, as well as ‘pop-up’ exhibitions in alternative spaces such as corporate headquarters, retail shops and private clubs. Sandra has developed a series of Private Receptions to meet selected artists in her gallery space at her home in Chelsea. Most recently, Sandra has established Discover Art Now, her blog which serves as a platform for highlighting new and exciting things happening in art worldwide, with a speciality in Latin American Art.
